ARTIC is a text-to-speech system developed in the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence, Department of Cybernetics, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Czech Republic.
This web is intended to bring information about the results our research team achieves in the field of TTS synthesis and ARTIC development. ARTIC - as a laboratory TTS system - is a software package implementing the most modern and up-to-date techniques of concatenative speech synthesis, prosody estimation and text processing, which are included in the research scope of our team.
The commercially available version of ARTIC is developed in co-operation with the company SpeechTech, Ltd. as a part of its flagship product ERIS.
